About the role
As a member of the senior management team within our Education and Skills directorate, you will provide leadership for the Schools Effectiveness team and lead and manage all school improvement and effectiveness work in Wiltshire to ensure good pupil outcomes. You will also oversee the strategic commissioning of education services to schools as well ensuring effective plans are in place for amalgamations and expansions. Working alongside the Commercial Manager of Schools Traded Services, you will develop trading and income generation opportunities and take overall responsibility for budgets within your service area.
About you
You will be a qualified teacher with headship or senior school leadership experience. You will be able to demonstrate a significant track record of leading and delivering school improvements and a thorough understanding of the primary and secondary 13-19 curriculums.
