A rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Services / Operations Manager for a growing Multi Academy Trust based in Bradford (BD4), West Yorkshire.

This is a full-time role and will require working across multiple education sites across Bradford.

Working closely with the Operations Director, the purpose of this role is to deliver operational excellence across the Trust schools by providing high quality professional leadership and management in the day-to-day running of Premises, Catering, Health and Safety, Risk Management, Project Management and Governance and Compliance, ensuring statutory compliance in all service areas.

The core purposes

• Provide strategic and operational leadership and management of the Trusts’ Estates Manager, Catering Manager and Governance and Compliance Officer, ensuring the team delivers a quality service at all times.
• Support the Director of Operations and Infrastructure to achieve the strategic development objectives relating to the central operations across the Trust.
• Ensure all Trust policies are periodically reviewed, updated, approved and embedded across the Trust central team and the schools.
• Co-ordinate and monitor Health and Safety across the schools, reviewing the schools self-assessment, audit reports and action plans, and conduct regular visits to each school.
• To lead on key project work for the Trust as required. Honesty – Respect – Integrity – Inclusiveness – Growth
• Oversee governance across the Trust, ensuring the provision is robust, effective and compliant with legislation.
• Provide training to school based staff as appropriate
