historic market town of Banbury.
We also benefit from a 120 acre working farm which is utilised for teaching purposes across the whole range of subjects.
This is also the platform for our sixth form students to prepare for careers in the veterinary field with past students
being offered university places based on this alone.
As part of the Warriner Multi Academy Trust we offer excellent opportunities for career progression and CPD. We have
a very supportive ethos and as such our community looks after each other, both staff and students. Student behaviour
across the school is very good and students are encouraged to reach their full potential by our dedicated staff.

As a consistently oversubscribed, expanding school we are seeking to appoint a Head of Social Sciences. Thisrole requires
a specialism in Psychology. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of high quality teaching and
learning for one of our most popular Post 16 subjects. Psychology has a trend of year on year improvement, and we are
looking for somebody with the skills and passion to help the subject grow this success.
More widely this role will involve leading the Social Sciences Faculty. This will include the leadership of Business, Sociology
and Law. This will involve leading four members of staff to ensure high quality provision and outcomes for these subjects.
The faculty has recently seen significant growth and success. Successful candidates will continue this pattern to ensure
the success of some of our most popular subjects.
Much of the delivery of the subjects is situated in our dedicated Sixth Form Centre. The Warriner Sixth Form is a
purposeful, supportive and growing environment to work in for both students and staff. We welcome applications from

About The Warriner School
The Warriner School is a co-educational secondary academy for 11- to 18-year-olds, located in Bloxham, Oxfordshire. It is part of the Warriner Partnership, which links nine feeder primaries to the secondary school. Around 1,350 students are in attendance, with 150 in the sixth form.
The school was opened in 1971 for students aged 11-16. In September 2013, The Warriner School expanded, opening a sixth-form centre to provide A-level study for 16-18s. In August 2015, the school joined the Warriner Multi Academy Trust, which is made up of one secondary and five primary schools.
