Are you an exceptional teacher, an aspiring middle-leader or perhaps an experienced Head of Department ready to make your next move? 

Oxford High School is looking for a dynamic and inspiring individual to lead the Spanish department and teach Spanish at GCSE and A Level. 

The ability to teach a second Modern Foreign Language would also be an advantage.

The Faculty:

The successful applicant will become an integral member of the School’s Modern Languages Faculty, one of two large faculties in the school. The Modern Languages Faculty enjoys consistently high results from students at (I)GCSE and A-Level, and with many students opting to read Modern Languages at Oxbridge and other Russell Group universities.

About Oxford High School for Girls GDST

Oxford High School is an independent, non-denominational, all-through school for girls without nursery and with sixth form, situated in three sites in Summertown, North Oxford. It is one of 26 members of the GDST (Girls’ Day School Trust), meaning it is governed by the council and operates according to the trust’s policy. The school provides 906 places for primary, secondary and sixth-form students aged 4-19.

Oxford High School was founded in 1875 and is the oldest girls' school in the city. Until recently it accepted boys into its junior school, but is now girls-only.
