Headmaster: Mr Nicholas Hammond is seeking to appoint for the Senior School a well-qualified and highly motivated Head of Spanish to start in November 2018.
Full time and temporary post – Maternity cover.
The British School of Paris is a non-selective co-educational school which provides British education of a high quality to an international student clientele.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of Spanish at A Level, KS4 and KS3. He/she will manage and oversee the work of 2 Spanish teachers and will liaise with the Head of the Language Faculty. The Head of Department teaches throughout the age and ability range. The ability to offer French would be an advantage.
All applicants must be fully qualified teachers with recent experience of the British national curriculum and should expect to contribute fully to the wider life of the school. A significant Senior School experience is essential. He/she must hold a valid EU passport or have already obtained a full French work permit.

All classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and we were the first school in France, from 2012, to issue all pupils from Reception Year to university-bound Year 13 with iPad digital tablets to enhance learning across the curriculum.
