We’re looking for an experienced Stakeholder Relationship Management professional to guide and influence qualified candidates along the customer journey. This is a key leadership team position. The role is as important internally in attracting and retaining high quality staff as it is externally in the understanding of market size, trends, customer intent and the pro-active interactions required to deliver a constant demand. Data driven, the role will make use of ongoing research and monitoring of key indicators, cultivating relationships with stakeholders and driving performance.

Purpose

The Head of Stakeholder Relationships for Portugal is responsible across the schools for attracting and retaining Staff, Students and influencers. Reporting to Head of School, Lagoa and Almancil, the successful candidate has five key areas of responsibility:

  • ADMISSIONS: Relentlessly drive admissions, the pipelines that deliver admissions, live & breathe the data that guides the effort and investment.
  • RESEARCH, ANALYSIS & REPORTING: Incessantly research, analyse, monitor act upon and report market size, changes, and trends. Intimately understand, monitor and act upon the competition for our enrolments be it competitor international schools, technology change, or simply local state schools.
  • COMMUNICATIONS, Outbound communications have become lost in the spam, the holder of this role will create and foster a host of dialogues through class leading touch points around our brand attracting inbound traffic and a continuously uplifting dialogue with our stakeholders and prospects.
  • EVENTS, deliver self-funding/profitable “must do” events targeted at each stakeholder group, cross-fertilize events with communications and outreach to maximise the touch points and provide consistent high-quality content for our influencers.
  • EMPOWER & ENGAGE all stakeholders with the tools and the passion to influence, advocate and fill the pipeline of prospective admissions.

Person Specification / Competencies

  • First class verbal and written communications skills.
  • Commercially aware, results driven and proactive.
  • Proven ability in stakeholder management.
  • An affinity for tools and methodologies for managing and leveraging relationships including but not limited to MS Office, CRM systems, web technologies.
  • Demonstrate management experience in leading and motivating small teams.
  • Demonstrate experience selecting and managing external suppliers.
