Our client, located in South West Sydney is seeking applications for a Head of Teaching and Learning. The Head of Teaching and Learning is a new Executive position within this Independent Coeducational College.
About the Role:
- New Executive position at the College
- Full time role, 3 year contract
- To start by Term 4, 2018
- Opportunity to have a teaching load if desired
- Develop in collaboration a new K-12 Quality Teaching and Learning framework
- Ability to engage with students, staff, parents and College leadership
- Ability to lead, motivate, influence and empower staff
- School built a strong reputation and has achieved outstanding results
- Accelerated learning in Years 7 to 10 for independent learners

About You:
- Have the right to work in Australia
- Possess current references
- Hold a teaching qualification recognised in Australia
- Be registered or have the ability to be registered with New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) and hold a NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Originally Secondary trained, ideally with a post-graduate degree in leadership
- High level HSC (or equivalent) marking experience
- Outstanding knowledge of teaching and learning frameworks and principles
- High level interpersonal and organisational skills
- Open to those taking a step up in their career or already in a similar position
