Are you a leader with a desire to deliver outstanding teaching? Do you have a track record of delivering effective school to school support? Are you hungry for the next challenge? Our TSA is recruiting a Head to lead our nationally acclaimed and celebrated support to the Alternative Provision (AP) and Special Education sector to the next stage of its development, driving new innovative approaches to support and teach learners in AP and to lead the TBAP School Improvement Model nationally. The TSA comprises over 20 SLEs with specific areas of expertise and delivers the National SSIF Literacy and DfE Equality and Diversity training programme.   In September 2019 the TBAP TSA will be moving into new purpose-built accommodation as part of a £13M TBAP campus development in Fulham.

You will have QTS, substantial senior leadership experience in a learning environment, and in-depth knowledge of national policy, curriculum developments, and the statutory and legislative framework within which schools and AP academies operate.  Ideally, you will have a track record of development, growth and continuous improvement in professional standards in a specific educational area and a knowledge of teaching schools and their place in a self-improving school-led system.   You will have the ability to translate strategic plans into motivating operational objectives, using a wide range of data to inform your decisions, and align yourself with our values of resilience, compassion and innovation.

The TBAP Multi-Academy Trust includes nine Academies five of which have been judged as 'good' or ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted following conversion. We deliver high quality Alternative and SEMH Provision across four London Boroughs and across Cambridgeshire. In September 2016, we opened an innovative new 16-19 Academic AP Free school, which provides an academic curriculum to enable learners to gain access to Higher Education.  Additionally, two further academies will be joining the Trust in December 2017 located in Harlow and Warrington. TBAP Multi- Academy Trust are proud to hold a silver award from Investors in People.

The TBAP Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.  An enhanced DBS disclosure will be requested for the successful candidate in accordance with Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education legislation.

Interested candidates should complete an application form ensuring that the personal statement outlines how they meet the person specification.  Complete application forms  should be emailed to hr@tbap.org.uk by 5 p.m. on Monday 11 December 2017.
