Stewards is a thriving and oversubscribed 11-16 Specialist Science Academy.
We are looking for an ambitious, innovative and forward-thinking teacher to lead our dynamic and successful Technology Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and enhancing Resistant Materials and Product Design at both KS3 and KS4 levels.
The Department is well resourced and develops students’ knowledge and understanding of traditional skills and processes as well as those in Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Machines [CAD/CAM]. The department is equipped with a Laser Cutter and 3D printer and has access to its own IT suite.
Our Technology Department also offers Food and Hospitality with a state of the art Catering facility alongside a Construction suite offering students modules in Plumbing, Carpentry, Tiling and Painting and Decorating
Precise commencing salary will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Stewards Academy was known as Stewards School before it adopted academy status in 2011. It has specialist status in science. The school operates a number of partnerships with external providers.
