Who are we looking for?

As part of our growth and continued development CEG ONCAMPUS are looking to recruit a Head of Welfare across our London campuses ONCAMPUS LSBU and ONCAMPUS London.

The Head of Welfare’s role is to lead the welfare provision in centre, facilitating a highly supportive and caring environment for the centres students to help them succeed, allowing them to reach their potential and providing opportunities for students to develop emotionally and socially.

The post-holder will have a key role in ensuring an excellent student experience and will be actively involved in the student engagement agenda.  

Key Responsibilities:

• The post holder will have responsibility for the wellbeing and safety of students, ensuring that they are up to date with best practice through personal development, including networking and conference attendance to meet student needs.

• To support the Director of Student Engagement and Experience to ensure welfare policies meet safeguarding and prevent guidance.

• To drive the quality, compliance and continual improvement of welfare provision and the overall student experience. 

• Contribute to the continuing improvement of student experience by researching best practice face to face and online support, leading student surveys and interviews periodically and make recommendations for and lead on improvement as necessary.

• To provide leadership and input into planning, enhancement and oversight of the student experience and services. Including working with centre and central teams to ensure there is an active student engagement programme in place, including student induction and activities/social engagement with the ONCAMPUS partner.
