An outstanding leader is required with the vision and energy to create a world-class learning environment at Wellington Primary Academy in Tidworth, Wiltshire. The academy opened on a brand new purpose-built site in September 2014 and has grown rapidly to over 350 pupils with the final number of pupils being 420 in September 2019. We expect Wellington Primary Academy to become a beacon of excellence and optimism for the Tidworth community and significant progress has been made to this end already. Wellington Primary Academy is part of Wellington Collage Academy Trust and more than half of the current pupils are from military families.

Wellington Lions, part of the Ascend Learning Trust, is a purpose-built school based within the new housing development in NEQ (North East Quadrant) of Tidworth and caters for pupils from Reception through to Year 6.
