We are seeking a middle leader who has the drive, commitment, and creativity to ensure all students are engaged and challenged in a range of sports, games and physical education activities. The Head of PE and Sports is responsible for the curricular and co-curricular activities from Early Years to Sixth Form. The school offers core PE and Games to all year groups as well as IGCSE PE and IB Diploma Sport, Exercise, and Health Science.

A broad skill base in terms of leadership and management is essential.  The ideal candidate will have a clear vision for sports and physical education, be able to demonstrate strategic planning and have sound interpersonal skills.

The school has an experienced team of teachers and also works closely with a range of external providers to ensure students have a wide variety of sporting opportunities. Sporting competitions dictate that our focus is around activities such as Athletics, Basketball, Football, and Swimming. However, there are also opportunities for our students to compete in other sports such as Badminton, Volleyball, Golf, and Cricket. The sporting facilities in the school are good and include an astroturf football pitch, tennis courts, basketball and badminton courts, a gym, swimming pool with an Olympic pool being built, and other facilities. The school takes part in numerous sporting competitions throughout the year at local, national and regional levels.  Participation and success rates have increased over the last four years and this is something to continue to build upon.
