The Beaconsfield School is an ambitious school which has positive staff and students who work in partnership to ensure success.  This is a school where relationships are strong and individuals are well supported. Our most recent OFSTED report February 2019 graded the school ‘GOOD’ in all areas.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, talented and inspiring classroom practitioner able to lead a year group (to be decided) in their academic and social development.  The successful candidate will build on the success of the student support system which continually enhances the quality of the support and guidance of our students.

The successful candidate will take a lead role in the delivery of our ethos and will play a major role as a Middle Leader in the development of all aspects of the school.  Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and challenging to help them discover their potential
  • Develop outstanding behaviour across the school for their year group and those they teach
  • Leading on attendance for the year group
  • Developing a sense of team and belonging across the year group
  • Taking a lead with parental engagement
  • Take the lead on the PIXL Edge

The post will include working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to enhance the learning, progress and well-being of our students. There will be a requirement to work closely with parents and other external stake holders.

Applications are welcome from candidates who are able to demonstrate highly developed skills that will ensure our students and all those supporting them are committed to very high standards in keeping with the school’s reputation. The role should be attractive to a colleague who has the ambition to join a Senior Leadership Team in the future.

We are looking to continue our development towards being an outstanding school.  If you feel that you have something to offer us within a highly supportive and progressive team then please do get in touch.  We can offer you support in your professional development in the next stage of our career development.

If you feel that you could bring something to our support team that will help develop individuals then please do get in touch.

If you would like a tour of school before applying contact Sam Harwood the Headteacher’s PA on sharwood@beaconsfield.school
