At Trinity Academy, we place emphasis on academic excellence, where all students and staff have the opportunity to work hard to achieve their personal best. Our mission is to encourage personal, moral and spiritual development within a Christian framework. We are a vibrant community, housed in a modern facility with good motorway links which puts us in easy reach of Leeds, Sheffield and Hull.
As a Head of Year, you will be able to demonstrate high quality pastoral care. Your role will be to ensure that each student in your year group is well cared for and makes outstanding academic progress, ensuring that high expectations are met with regards to behaviour across the year team.
You will be an excellent classroom practitioner with high professional standards and excellent subject knowledge, with the ability to teach inspirational lessons across all key stages. You will have drive and determination and be able to engage and motivate students.
The welfare of our staff is important to us. We are firmly committed to CPD and offer a comprehensive programme with superb promotion prospects and career development. We subscribe to the Workplace Options scheme, the childcare voucher scheme (Sodexo) and all staff are given a daily meal allowance.
