We are looking to appoint a confident, hard-working and self-motivated pastoral Head of Year who will set the standards and nurture the learning and emotional development of a key year group from September 2018.
The Manor Academy is part of the Two Counties Trust and has ambitious plans with the newly formed pastoral structure to become an even better one. The recruitment of the very best staff is central to the vision Governors have for the school.
As a high profile middle leader in the school you will be expected to communicate your vision and expectations to a team of tutors, ensuring high standards of behaviour, attendance and attitude to learning across your year group.
We are looking for a strong teacher with a proven track record of pastoral care. You will build confident and trusting relationships with young people and have a developed understanding of the need to balance pastoral care with academic progress. You will have a child centred approach but be firm in upholding the values of the school and high standards of behaviour.
