This is an exciting opportunity to join Stantonbury School as a Head of Year. Working across the curriculum and pastoral domain you will be able to support the academic and personal development of a year group so that they become successful students and are ready for the next stage of their education. Stantonbury School is now part of the Tove Learning Trust and is on a rapid journey of school improvement and the successful candidate will have a leading role in supporting this.
At Stantonbury Heads of Year are supported by a dedicated student support leader who is able to oversee many of the day to day issues and provide immediate support when required. The Head of Year is a teaching role and ideally we would like the postholder to be able to teach any of the following subjects: Computing and ICT, History, Maths, Science or RE.
To enable all students to make as much progress as possible, and to develop as confident, well-educated and happy young people.
