We require an energetic and enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to contribute to the work of our pastoral team.  The successful candidate will work closely with the other Heads of Year to ensure our pupils are safe, happy and engaged in their learning.  They will lead a team of base tutors and be responsible for a year group comprising approximately 180 pupils.  In addition, the successful candidate will assist in the coordination of mental health provision for pupils across the school.

This is a multi-faceted role that necessitates adaptability, strong organisational skills and attention to detail.  Above all, a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to engage children is essential in this extremely rewarding role.  Experience of safeguarding, child protection and child mental health is desirable, but comprehensive training in this area will be provided.
