Cambridge School of Bucharest is searching for a talented and enthusiastic professional to join their middle leadership team as the Head of Years 10 and 11. The ideal candidate will bring a dynamic approach to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment and will align with the school's values of confidence, success, and belonging.

At Cambridge School of Bucharest, we strive to provide students with a well-rounded education that prepares them for success. Our Head of Year will have a strong focus on pastoral care and will lead a team of form tutors to ensure the smooth running of the school. The successful candidate will also have experience in developing and implementing personal development programmes and have a strong understanding of best practices in international education.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the personal and academic growth of students in Years 10 and 11, working closely with teachers, parents, and staff to provide support and challenge where needed. You will also play a key role in organising extra-curricular activities and events, such as assemblies, clubs, and trips, to help students broaden their horizons and build their skills and confidence.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience as a Head of Year or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to implement personal development programmes.
  • Understanding of best practices in international education.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
