The Governors of Pinewood School invite applications for the post of Head from 1st September 2020 in succession to Mr Philip Hoyland after 18 years of outstanding service. Pinewood is an exceptional independent co-educational prep school, with 410 day and boarding pupils aged 3+ to 13+. It has an excellent academic record and provides a very wide range of activities, including the Pinewood Adventure programme. Pinewood School offers a quality, family-based co-educational day and boarding environment for children aged 3-13.
The School is set in 84 acres of rolling countryside on the border between Wiltshire and Oxfordshire and is situated in the small village of Bourton, within easy reach of towns such as Shrivenham, Marlborough, Farringdon and Cirencester. It is approximately seven miles from Swindon with its direct road and train links to London, Oxford and Bristol.
