An excellent leadership opportunity for those aspiring for headship has arisen in a state of the art campus in Manor Park School, Aberdeen.

Manor Park School is a co-educational, non-denominational school, which opened in October 2010. It is situated in the Northfield area of Aberdeen City and draws its pupils from a catchment area consisting mainly of local authority housing. 

The Leadership Team includes a Head Teacher and two Depute Head Teachers.

The current school roll is 272 with 11 classes and an 80 place nursery. There is also a provision for Additional Support Needs. Wider achievement, raising attainment and equity are integral to the work of the school and Manor Park is one of Aberdeen City’s ‘Attainment Challenge’ Schools.

Manor Park School includes a ‘Community Wing’ housing a Police Station. There is also a well-established Breakfast Service operating each morning and an extensive programme of extra-curricular activities take place at lunchtime, after-school and at the weekends.

The state of the art campus has a large, fully enclosed play area of grass and tarmac and also benefits from a large all weather sports pitch.

There are strong community links through Northfield ASG primaries and Northfield Academy, Middlefield Church, Community Learning Development, social care and wellbeing, police and health professionals.

Manor Park has a Parent Council which is supportive of the school and actively contributes to the life of the school and on-going areas of development. The school works in partnership with parents, providing opportunities for children to be successful and reach their full potential.
