Head Teacher

Due to the recent retirement of our long serving Head, the governing body of Princethorpe Junior School are looking to appoint an inspirational and dedicated Head Teacher from September 2017.

Princethorpe Junior School is a welcoming two-form entry school for 240 pupils. We are proud of our record of being judged ‘Good’ in our last three Ofsted inspections, not least because the school is located in an area of high deprivation, with 60% of pupils eligible for pupil premium funding. Our vision is to create a safe, caring and successful school in which everyone can achieve to the best of their ability. The school has a dedicated, hard-working team who strive towards the shared goal of providing each child with an excellent all-round education. The strong leadership team and all the staff work hard to create an inclusive learning environment that supports children in every aspect of their lives. Exceptional pastoral care is fundamental to the ethos of Princethorpe Junior School. We are a caring and nurturing school that enables children to feel safe and encourages them to flourish emotionally, socially and academically.

The successful candidate will be expected to take up the appointment at the beginning of the Autumn Term.
