Job overview

Beachborough is one of the UK’s leading independent preparatory schools, offering an outstanding day and boarding education for boys and girls aged 2 ½ to 13. Situated on the borders of Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Northamptonshire in 35 acres of stunning grounds and woodland, Beachborough focuses on creating and inspiring a nurturing learning adventure where each and every child can flourish in achieving things they simply didn’t think were possible and preparing them for life as ‘world ready’ citizens.

Following the appointment of Christian Pritchard to the headship of Beechwood Park, the Board of Governors seeks a dynamic and adventurous leader to build on Beachborough’s many existing strengths and develop the School further as a model of excellence in all round preparatory education, outdoor learning and digital learning.

The successful candidate will possess a track record of successful senior leadership experience as a Head or Deputy Head, and the strategic ability to evolve Beachborough in this next important phase of its development. Warm, collegial, and charismatic, the next Head will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, engaging all parts of the school community in its future success. A commitment to the School’s nurturing and inclusive ethos is essential.
