Head Teacher

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is seeking a dynamic Head Teacher with excellent leadership skills.

St. Mary’s is an extremely popular, newly built one form entry primary school with approximately 180 pupils. It is part of Plymouth CAST (Catholic Academy Schools Trust), a multi academy trust and works closely with other CAST schools. The relationship with these organisations adds value to our school and the long term development and education of our children.

Our Head Teacher must be inspirational, motivated, supportive and fully embrace our values.

You will be:

• a practising Catholic who can nurture faith and spirituality to deliver the mission of the school;
• an experienced leader in the primary phase with a wide range of experience;
• able to lead, motivate and inspire staff and children to the highest possible standards;
• an excellent communicator, able to develop effective relationships with pupils, staff, parents and the wider community;
• dynamic, resilient and able to build a strong and supportive team with a clear strategic vision for the school;
• an outstanding teacher and practitioner.
