The Old Park School is an outstanding special school for up to 151 pupils aged 4-19. We provide a bespoke education for pupils who have severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties. These include pupils with complex medical conditions, physical and mobility difficulties and autism. A number of our children have behavioural difficulties arising from their condition and many have communication difficulties. Our purpose built school building opened in November 2011. We have ‘state of the art’ facilities that enable us to offer our pupils the full range of the National Curriculum as well as a broad and balanced curriculum matched to the individual needs of pupils. The Old Park School is a very successful school and is renowned in the local community and beyond. The excellent work of the school has been recognised through three successive outstanding judgements by Ofsted.
