Our current Headteacher, who has taken the school from being a poor performer to being Good with Outstanding Features, is due to retire on 31 August 2020.

We seek an inspirational, dynamic and focused successor who has the vision and skills to build on the school’s success, maintain and develop our high attainment standards and be innovative and creative in enabling every pupil to achieve their full potential.  We expect our Headteacher to be a role model for staff, children and parents and to do this with humour and care for all members of the school community.

You will:

Beverley St Nicholas Community Primary School is located next to St Nicholas Church in the market town of Beverley on the east side of the town.  The school is built on an estate of both privately owned and council houses.

We are located just a ten minute walk from the Beverley Minster Church and town centre and very close to the popular Flemingate shopping and leisure development.

Beverley St Nicholas Community Primary School is a purpose-built building (2018) over two levels, this includes a Foundation Unit, KS1 classes being taught on the lower floor and KS2 classrooms located on the upper floor.  There is a large outdoor environment which includes a running track and a multi-use games area as well as three football pitches.

Appointment is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
