You will be ready for the opportunity to provide leadership and management to a new school. Working alongside the Head of Education and the Registered Manager of our new residential home on the shared premises, you will help promote outstanding performance, lead, and develop a new team. Using our trauma informed practices and our ATIC (Attachment Trauma Informed Care) model you will develop a strategic view for the school and its wider community. We are also looking for this leader to be able to support our other education provision in Orpington.

As you expect for such a role, you will need a proven background of working within a Special Education Setting (SEMH/SpLd) with sound knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection, along with solid understanding of the Ofsted Inspection Framework and the National Curriculum. An interest or experience in coordinating alternative provisions would be desirable.  Being fully qualified with QTS status, you must have an excellent understanding of the national curriculum framework and the statutory requirements of the DfE Code of Practice SEN.

Our children are special, and we are looking for a special, dedicated and inspiring Head teacher to help us give them a sense of belonging and self-worth. By doing this we invest in their futures to give them the educational background they deserve and the life skills they will require to progress.
