St Hilda’s Primary School is a large primary school situated in the Coldhurst area of Oldham.  We pride ourselves on our welcoming and friendly relationship with all the schools’ stakeholders, and our progressive and outward-looking approach.

We are an ambitious school, with a strong Christian Ethos and have a willingness to change and grow. Our new Head Teacher will have access to a range of professional development opportunities and be expected to drive the school towards its ambition of being outstanding.

The majority of our students are from disadvantaged and ethnic minority backgrounds and the proportion of pupils who are supported for SEN is above average.

We have recently been inspected and have initiated a very robust drive towards improved progress and attainment.  The school has a number of strengths and we are proud of our safe and respectful environment and our wide ranging and engaging curriculum.
