As the new Head Teacher, you will embody the vision of the school – someone who is continually seeking to learn and grow as a leader.  You have a proven track record of success but are ambitious and ready to take on a fresh challenge to further develop your career.

The challenge we offer is to evolve The Vineyard into a truly exceptional school – for children, staff and parents. You will enjoy the backing of a committed governing body and the enthusiastic involvement of our culturally diverse parent community.

  • A leader who inspires the children, staff and parents.
  • An architect of change who will continually improve the educational outcome of the children.
  • A Head Teacher who is committed to the professional development of their staff.

You will benefit from:

  • Curious children who are keen to learn.
  • A team of highly motivated, supportive and qualified staff.
  • An engaged parent body whose volunteer efforts help the school to be successful.
  • An established system of governance, with robust policies and a governing body which empowers the Head Teacher whilst being appropriately challenging.
  • A highly desirable location to work at a large site with substantial green space and extensive newly built facilities.

About The Vineyard Primary School

Nestled at the top of Richmond Hill and situated within stunning grounds and first class facilities, The Vineyard has been proudly educating locally in Richmond for over 160 years. We are an extremely popular and oversubscribed school with 630 children currently on roll.

An education at The Vineyard is holistic. We have built a bespoke knowledge-rich, skills-led curriculum which provides stretch and challenge for all, inspiring pupils to reach their full potential and actively make a positive difference to the lives of others. We expect our children to explore the extraordinary number of enriching opportunities on offer and reach for the highest standards in all that they do - in their character and behaviour for learning, as well as their academic outcomes.

We are immensely proud of their achievements and in equal measure we celebrate their outstanding academic results, future school destinations, excellence in the performing arts, sporting endeavours and service to others.

Our Vineyard Values really matter to everyone in school be that pupils, staff, parents and Governors in our engagement with each other and the wider stakeholder community. They underpin how the community act with each other and determine how decisions are made.

With hard work, effort and fortitude, there is a strong belief that there is no limit to what can be achieved. We work for every child and staff member to be able to fulfil their potential.
