Teaching ServiceVincentia High School is a vibrant co-educational, comprehensive; community school located in Jervis Bay on the south coast of New South Wales. The student population of 1020 remains relatively stable as our area develops. Our school has been impacted by bush fire and the COVID-19 pandemic over the last 2 years. We are achieving strategic improvement in Student Growth and Attainment, Effective Classrooms that Engage Students and Innovation in Engaging with Our Community. We prioritise inclusivity through our culturally diverse community. Sixteen percent of our students identify as Aboriginal and are supported by a range of cultural and wellbeing programs including Clontarf. Our fourteen support classes cater for students with a range of disabilities including intellectual, physical, mental health and emotional disturbance. Vincentia High School is an important member of the Bay and Basin Learning Community serving the educational needs of students from our local primary schools of Vincentia, Huskisson, Tomerong, St Georges Basin, Sanctuary Point, Sussex Inlet and Jervis Bay. We have forged strong partnerships with all our partner primary schools and the local business community.

- Ability to build trust and relationships across a complex setting that includes a large population of students from diverse backgrounds.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
