Teaching ServiceFairvale High School is a co-educational, comprehensive high school in Fairfield West, South West Sydney, with an enrolment of 1450 students including 92% of students from language backgrounds other than English.
Fairvale High School is a high performing and high demand school with a strong learning culture and high expectations of students. The school community is highly aspirational and upon completing school, 60% of Year 12 students access university and 40% transition to TAFE, private colleges and/or full-time work.
Fairvale High offers a broad curriculum including, designated EAL/D classes, timetabled Literacy and Learning Support classes, a Support Unit and seven VET pathways. Highly dedicated and collaborative staff work to foster a caring and inclusive whole school culture which values academic achievement and excellence in education.
- Capacity to coordinate and organise multiple VET Curriculum Frameworks within a large school environment.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee Computer Studies and Professional Development for staff.
- Highly developed demonstrated skill in the area of NESA data collection, input and compliance.
