The Drama department at Haberdashers’ is a vibrant and enjoyable place to work. We are looking for a dynamic Theatre Technician with experience of providing quality support to theatre productions in terms of lighting, sound, audio visual and set. In addition to the technical skills, you will demonstrate creativity, innovation and a desire to collaborate with others across the School.

Overseeing the running and management of performance spaces, you will play a part in supporting with training of pupils in the use of some technical equipment.

Ideally with good demonstrable experience in the theatre industry, you will possess up-to-date knowledge of lighting systems, lighting control and the ability to maintain equipment. 

With a flexible approach to working hours, this post is full-time, working on average 40 hours per week, with the need for some evening and weekend commitments. A salary of up to £31,064 per annum is offered, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits including generous holidays and pension contributions, free parking, free lunches and use of the state of the art Medburn Leisure Centre.
