Job overview

Worksop College is seeking an ambitious and dynamic Head, following the appointment of Gavin Horgan to Millfield after his six years of excellent service.

Situated on two stunning rural campuses in North Nottinghamshire with a range of first-class facilities, Worksop College and Ranby House operate as a single thriving co-educational boarding and day school, educating around 600 pupils aged 3 – 18 years. Founded in 1890, Worksop College has remained true to its core principle of providing a wide variety of opportunities for every pupil to achieve their aspirations whilst looking ahead to the future with excitement and confidence.

Community, belonging and a deep-seated sense of friendship play a major role in the lives of pupils, who are able to flourish and realise their full potential through their time at Ranby House and the College. The school has a growing reputation for academic excellence running alongside outstanding pastoral care, co-curricular activities and sporting achievements. It is a place where pupils are given the opportunity to flourish in a caring community in which relationships between all members of the community matter enormously.
