The Governors of Amery Hill School are seeking to appoint a highly effective and inspirational Headteacher to start September 2018.
Supported by a passionate and dedicated team of staff and governors, Amery Hill School has achieved exceptional educational outcomes for its students. Our 2017 results placed us as one of the top performing schools in Hampshire and our results for English and Maths placed us in the top 7% of comprehensive schools nationally.
Amery Hill School has a reputation for pastoral care and attracts students from a wide catchment area. We are a mixed 11-16 converter academy (October 2011) with a capacity of 1,000 students. The school is situated on an attractive campus close to the centre of the historic market town of Alton.
