Job Title: Headteacher
Location: Robins Way school, Amesbury
Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience - and performance related bonus - plus Welcome Bonus - ** Welcome Bonus is payable after completion of one month £1,000 and one further payment of £1,000 upon completion of your final probation period. Hours: Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
Relocation package: Up to £8,000 *Terms and conditions apply*

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Headteacher to join our close-knit team at Robins Way School located in Amesbury.
About the role
As a Headteacher, you will promote a relentless focus on high quality, creative learning, delivering our pupils educational needs, maximising pupil achievement, and their ability to develop.
Key objectives of the role:
- Outstanding outcomes for Pupils and Young People that are a reflection of their needs, abilities and aptitudes.
- A safe environment that protects the welfare of Pupils and Young People and staff in the school.
- Meeting all statutory requirements as defined by the DfE, Ofsted and other external bodies and achieving the highest inspection ratings possible.
Essential:
- At least three years’ experience as a senior leader in a specialist school for pupils with complex communication needs
- Qualified Teacher Status or Equivalent
- Willingness to extend personal and professional development
- Ability to lead and provide a clear vision
Desirable:
- Completion of NPQH
- Experience of conducting performance management
- Experience of appointing, managing and inducting staff
- Experience of planning the curriculum across a range of ages and abilities
About the school
Robins Way School is a brand-new SEN school for pupils with complex needs including SEMH; a co-educational provision with entry from 5-11 years old.
Robins Way School is an exciting addition to the Acorn portfolio based in Amesbury, Wiltshire. We are looking for an inspirational lead to be the Headteacher of this new school. Robins Way School is proposed to open in June 2025, but we are looking for a Headteacher who can start January 2025 (negotiable) to lead and develop the school throughout its development.
