Due to the retirement of our longstanding current Head Teacher the governors of St Saviour’s Church of England Junior School in Bath are looking for an inspirational, enthusiastic leader capable of building upon its core strengths and characteristics and leading the school to future further success.

We will be looking for someone who:

  • Is an experienced Headteacher or a Deputy looking for their first headship
  • Has a proven track record of leading school improvement and ensuring the highest standards in teaching and learning
  • Is a creative, caring, enthusiastic and engaging leader with the skills to help develop a real love of learning in our children
  • Can lead by motivating, encouraging and appreciating individuals
  • Is uncompromising in their drive to ensure that every child and every staff member can be the best that they can be
  • Has the desire and passion to further develop a broad, creative and inspiring curriculum
  • Can manage change effectively and sensitively
  • Has excellent communication skills and is able to build effective partnerships with families, staff, governors, St Saviour’s Infant School , our partner church and the local community
