This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a much-loved, one form entry Catholic primary school which aspires to continue its journey from good to outstanding.

We are looking for a Headteacher who can enable our children to express themselves within our rich learning environment, who understand that they are uniquely created by God and are loved and valued for who they are.
 

Our school results are outstanding and the Diocese of Lancaster has graded us as Outstanding, with an extremely strong Catholic identity which permeates the school's daily life. We are determined to both maintain those standards and improve upon them, and you will find a welcoming and flexible environment within which to develop and initiate new strategies.

We seek to build on the very firm foundations that our present Head teacher has developed, in order to continue to provide an excellent academic and pastoral education for every child in our care. .
 

We are seeking a Headteacher who will be: 

· An inspirational leader who will support our enthusiastic and dedicated team and is committed to the success of our school

· Committed to maintain excellent relationships

· Visionary in their approach to promote and enhance our Catholic ethos with the parish and local community

· A leader with high expectations of pupils’ achievements and behaviour

· Able to work with children to promote an aspirational culture

We welcome applications from experienced Headteachers, as well as aspiring Deputies who will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership, management and communication skills.

Our children would like a Headteacher who is ‘firm but fair, kind hearted, listens and someone who will tell us about Jesus.’
