Princess Frederica C of E Primary School is a “Good” graded School within the London Borough of Brent, and we are currently looking for an inspirational and creative Headteacher to lead our fabulous school from January 2017.

Princess Frederica is a two form entry Church of England Primary School, with 430 pupils on roll including a part-time nursery. The school benefits from being at the centre of a vibrant and diverse community coupled with a passionate, hardworking staff team who are fully committed to delivering the best education to young people of all abilities. Princess Frederica is a multicultural school which nurtures Christian faith and behaviour. We promote excellence so every child is inspired to achieve, providing enriching opportunities in a safe, caring and challenging environment where everyone is valued. Our school reflects the rich diversity of the locality and takes pleasure in its different cultures and languages. Through our caring and stimulating environment we encourage all children to develop into active and considerate members of society.

This is a well established School, which has a fantastic bedrock of plans in place to be able to provide a broad and enriched curriculum for all the children. We are looking for someone who will relish the challenge of maintaining what is excellent about this school and creating new and exciting plans. Someone who has drive, passion and enthusiasm and first-rate community engagement skills will really thrive here. A new Headteacher is an exciting development for our School and there is opportunity to make a huge difference in the future. As such we are looking for a confident Leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator and the post is open to existing Headteacher looking for a new challenge and an environment to suit you or a very strong Deputy looking for your first Headship.

You will have and be able to demonstrate the following:-

  • Passion and commitment to lead the School to offer a broad and enriched curriculum and environment for all pupils
  • A proven track record of successful leadership of staff
  • The vision and ability to build on the existing strength of the school
  • An exemplary classroom practitioner with a real passion for early years /KS1
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Understands the importance of succession planning within the school environment
  • Committed to maintain and further develop the Christian ethos of the school
  • Shares a passion for making a positive difference to the lives of our pupils
  • Shares the school’s inclusive and nurturing ethos
  • Able to work closely with the Governing Body in raising standards and developing teaching and learning
