Following the retirement of our dedicated Headteacher, the Governors are seeking an exceptional leader who will build on the strong foundations already in place and who has the drive and vision to direct the school from "good" to "outstanding", while continuing to support a culture where every child enjoys success in all aspects of learning.

We are looking for:

Wickham Common is a popular two-form entry school located at the very edge of the Green Belt.

The school is set in extensive grounds which are well used for a range of sporting and other outdoor activities; we are very proud of our Forest School status. The school enjoys particular success in Music which has been recognised by Artsmark Gold. We value and promote independence, thoughtfulness and curiosity. We aim to develop successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens.
