Brookmead is a delightful Buckinghamshire village school (345 pupils), currently rated ‘good’ by Ofsted (December 2019). We are seeking an enlightened and inspiring Head Teacher, who has the drive and imagination to lead our school community, and continue to develop our innovative and distinctive learning experience.
You will be naturally curious about learning and development, drawing on evidence-based research to support innovative practice, and foster a strong culture of nurture and inclusion. You will maintain the strong relationships and trust that have been developed across the wider community, and engage effectively with pupils, parents, staff, governors and all stakeholders. You will have leadership experience within a successful primary school, and have demonstrated your strong self-evaluation and strategic-planning skills.
You will be supported by a dedicated staff team, a committed governing body and have the privilege of working with our amazing pupils.

Brookmead School is a two-form entry Foundation Primary School for children aged 4 to 11 situated on the border of Ivinghoe and of Pitstone; we currently have 340 children on roll.
