Due to the departure of our current Headteacher, we are looking for a resilient, innovative, collaborative and enthusiastic Headteacher to ensure that our children continue to receive an excellent education and develop as caring, well-rounded members of society.

About us

Holtspur is a popular community school and pre-school with an Additionally Resourced Provision department (ARP) catering directly for 11 pupils with developmental language disorder, and plays an active role in the local community.

About the role

Working with our outstanding, well established team of teaching and support staff, you will have a genuine interest in every level and ability at the school. Understanding the strengths and needs of your students to enable realisation of their full potential, together with an ability to engage and motivate colleagues are key skills. An open-minded approach that embraces new ideas and encourages others to join you on journeys of change is essential. This should be complemented by excellent communication and networking skills.
