  • Proven strategic management, organisational and budgetary skills.
  • Experience to meet the opportunities and challenges of a school led system and enhance our collaborative work with other schools in Bury and beyond.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships within the school and in the wider community.
  • Proven determination, ambition and dedication to ensure all children reach their full potential.
  • The ability to lead and inspire colleagues alongside setting an excellent example of classroom practice and a focus on continuing staff and learning development.

Greenhill School can offer the successful candidate:

  • An attractive, safe and stimulating environment.
  • A happy and welcoming school where you have the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of its pupils.
  • The opportunity to lead and further develop a hardworking, dedicated and motivated team of teaching and support staff.
  • An enthusiastic and supportive Governing Body who will work alongside you to develop the school in partnership.
  • Supportive parents who have a keen interest in their children’s education.
  • Support for your continuing professional development.
  • A strong effective partnership with the Local Authority and other partners.

Informal visits to the school will be warmly welcomed and are actively encouraged. Please contact Mrs. Sandra Smith at the school office on 0161 764 7298 to arrange a time to visit and to have a look around the school and its grounds.

At Greenhill Primary School, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the physical, emotional and moral safety and welfare of each pupil in our care and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
