Todmorden High School is looking for a remarkable Headteacher to lead school improvement, and to help the school to become outstanding, by ensuring that all students develop into engaged, responsible and confident independent learners with great life skills.

We are the 3rd most successful secondary school in Calderdale, have recently been through a financial evaluation process, have a clear direction of travel and have great staff. A particular asset of the school is its ‘family’ approach. Students say ‘this school really does know who I am - they care about me’ – and we do!

Applications will be considered from those who can demonstrate recent examples of significantly improving outcomes for students, with the initiative to drive to improvement. Applicants must hold qualified teachers status. National Professional Qualification for Headship is desirable.
