Headteacher

Sutton C of E (VC) Primary School is a highly regarded village school set in the large village of Sutton in the Isle, 6 miles west of the beautiful cathedral city of Ely. Our school’s vibrant and positive character is expressed in our motto “Live well, laugh together, learn forever”.

Currently a Headteacher, Deputy Head or in a senior leadership role, you have a demonstrable track record of raising standards and the ambition, skills and experience to lead a school offering challenge and opportunity in equal measure. You possess a deep understanding of curriculum development and teaching and learning, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and pupils, as well as enthuse parents and carers. The successful candidate will be in sympathy with the ethos of a Church of England school serving the village community.
