Thomas Coram Centre, an outstanding nursery school is seeking a new headteacher. The centre is a pioneering provider and is well known and highly regarded for its innovative practice. It is situated in central London close to King's Cross and Russell Square on the unique site of the world famous Thomas Coram Foundation for Children (known as Coram), the oldest children's charity established as The Foundling Hospital in 1739. The Centre is open from 8.00-6.00 each weekday for 46 weeks of the year and supports over a hundred children in its nursery.

This is a key role in maintaining our outstanding early years provision for a socially and ethnically diverse community. An experienced and enthusiastic manager, you will possess vision, motivation, commitment and a wide range of experience and skills. You should have a sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, including the age range from birth to three, as well as an interest in new and challenging approaches. You must also have proven leadership and management experience and be able to work effectively with parents.
