Mae Ysgol Heol Goffa yn ysgol arbennig lwyddiannus a hapus iawn i bob oedran, sydd wedi'i lleoli yn Llanelli ar hyn o bryd.  Ar ôl ymddeoliad ein Pennaeth presennol, rydym am benodi unigolyn ysbrydoledig a dynameg i arwain yr ysgol a fydd yn adeiladu ar y llwyddiant parhaus.

Mae llywodraethwyr yn croesawu ceisiadau gan arweinwyr sy'n llawn cyffro i symud yr ysgol hon i'w lleoliad newydd, lle bydd disgyblion a staff yn parhau i ffynnu mewn lleoliad newydd a phwrpasol.  Bydd y broses o symud, y disgwylir iddi ddigwydd yn nhymor yr hydref 2022, yn darparu adnoddau a chyfleusterau blaenllaw yn y sector ar gyfer hyd at 120 o ddisgyblion. 

Rydym yn chwilio am rhywun sydd yn:

  • Gallu i adeiladu ar y cryfderau presennol, a nodwyd gan Estyn, a roddodd 'Ragoriaeth' ddwbl yn 2017;
  • Cyffro am newid a'r gallu i ysbrydoli, ysgogi ac ennyn diddordeb mewn cymuned ysgol gynhwysol;
  • Creu gweledigaeth strategol a chydgysylltiedig, a'i chyfathrebu'n glir er mwyn i gymuned gyfan yr ysgol a'i phartneriaid wedi'u grymuso;
  • Disgwyliadau uchel o ran cynnydd, cyrhaeddiad ac ymddygiad disgyblion, wrth sicrhau bod buddiannau a llesiant disgyblion wrth wraidd yr holl waith cynllunio;
  • Y gallu i ddatblygu'r ysgol ymhellach fel canolfan ragoriaeth ar gyfer llesiant, drwy ei hymrwymiad i'r athroniaeth Ymwybyddiaeth o Ymlyniad;
  • Cynnal y cyfleoedd cyfoethog ac eang o ran y cwricwlwm, wrth groesawu egwyddorion y Cwricwlwm Newydd i Gymru i sicrhau profiadau dysgu perthnasol iawn i'r holl ddisgyblion;
  • Drwy ystod o brosesau arloesol a chydweithredol, nodi anghenion penodol yr holl disgyblion a darparu ar eu cyfer;
  • Gwybodaeth drylwyr am y system ADY newydd a chynnal y cymhelliant i ddefnyddio dulliau sy'n canolbwyntio ar yr unigolyn i greu Cynlluniau Addysg integredig unigol ar gyfer yr holl ddisgyblion; a
  • Chefnogi cynlluniau'r Awdurdod Lleol ar gyfer y dyfodol i ddatblygu gwasanaethau allgymorth a darpariaeth lloeren wedi'i chydleoli.

 

Croesewir ceisiadau gan arweinwyr sy'n gallu dangos llwyddiant o ran arwain newid, ac sydd â dealltwriaeth gadarn o ddarpariaeth arbenigol.

Ysgol Heol Goffa is a highly successful and happy all age special school, currently situated in the town of Llanelli.  Following the retirement of our current Headteacher, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic school leader who will build on the continuing success.

Governors warmly invite applications from leaders who are excited about transitioning this school to its new location, where pupils and staff will continue to thrive within a new, purpose-built setting.  The move, scheduled for Autumn 2022, will provide sector leading resources and amenities for up to 120 pupils. 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can build on the existing strengths, identified by Estyn, who awarded a double ‘Excellent’ judgement in 2017;
  • Is excited by change and can inspire, motivate and enthuse an inclusive school community;
  • Creates a strategic and coherent vision, and communicates this clearly so that the whole school community and its partners are empowered;
  • Has high expectation of pupils’ progress, achievement and behaviour, whilst ensuring the interests and wellbeing of pupils is at the heart of all planning;
  • Can further develop the school as a centre of excellence for wellbeing, through its commitment to the Attachment Aware philosophy;
  • Maintain the rich and broad curriculum opportunities, whilst embracing the principles of the New Curriculum for Wales to ensure highly relevant learning experiences for all pupils;
  • Through a range of innovative and collaborative processes Identify and provide for the specific needs of all pupils;
  • Has a thorough knowledge of the new ALN system and maintains the drive to use person centred approaches to create integrated individual Education Plans for all pupils; and
  • Supports the Local Authority’s plans to develop outreach services.
