Trustees and Governors are delighted to invite applications for this post, following the current Headteacher’s decision to focus on his role as Executive Head of the Hamblin Education Trust as from September 2018.

The post of Headteacher not only offers the exciting opportunity to lead one of the top performing schools in the country but also to be a member of the leadership team of our multi academy trust (currently two secondary schools) as it develops and grows.

At Altrincham Grammar School for Boys we are proud of our excellent examination results, our outstanding range of extra-curricular opportunities and our welcoming and friendly ethos. We seek a new Headteacher who will build on the school’s success, using their experience and expertise to develop and enhance our already outstanding school and offer further benefits to the students, parents and the local community. He/she will be encouraged and supported to take forward his/her vision for the School and its students in a rapidly changing world.
