‘Working together – learning forever’

Willaston Primary Academy is located in the growing village of Willaston, a short journey away from the quaint market town of Nantwich, Cheshire. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and motivated leader to embed our ethos and vision, working with our dedicated team of staff and wonderful children to continue to improve the school.

Rated ‘Good’ in April 2018, we are a friendly and high achieving school. We believe in the promotion of lifelong learning, encouraging our children to become independent, curious and motivated learners. Our new Headteacher will be reflective and able to instigate change, as we continually strive to drive the best outcomes for the children in our community.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking professional, who is able to lead by example and inspire staff to take control of their own professional development and practice. The children at Willaston Primary Academy are eager to learn, and the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of new initiatives and strategies to support this ambition.

The key priorities at Willaston Primary Academy are:

  • To secure strategic leadership that promotes an outstanding culture
  • To use the school budget to the best educational effect
  • To give all children the opportunity and belief to achieve their full potential
  • To protect and safeguard the members of the school community

We would welcome applications from current senior school leaders who are able to demonstrate their record of success in driving school improvement, and their desire to continue to build on the successes of the school.

Our Governing Body is looking for a Headteacher who:

  • Is passionate about learning, and the potential of all children to succeed
  • Can evidence strategies for raising academic standards
  • Can inspire staff and children alike, to develop a commitment to lifelong learning
  • Can demonstrate excellent management, organisation and communication skills
  • Thinks strategically to create a vision which will continue to improve our school

In return we offer the opportunity for development and challenge in an inclusive and supportive environment alongside motivated pupils, a skilled, hardworking and dedicated staff and a committed Governing Body.

Visits to the school are recommended and warmly welcomed. To arrange a visit, please contact Olivia Armitage, Office Manager on 01270 661528 or email admin@willastonacademy.co.uk .
