Headteacher

Repton Primary is a school with a history of providing “Good” and “Outstanding” education for children and is highly regarded within the local community. Although the school was graded as “Requires Improvement” following its most recent OFSTED inspection the school has made significant improvements under the leadership of the interim Head teachers and we are now seeking to recruit a permanent Headteacher to embed these improvements and continue the schools improvement journey.

We are looking for a Headteacher who:

• Is passionate about ensuring each child fulfils their potential and puts education at the heart of everything they do.
• Capable of developing a cohesive team that can lead the school through the challenges associated with continued improvement
• Committed to developing all staff through effective coaching, continued development and empowerment.
• Able to build positive relationships and be an excellent communicator with pupils, parents, governors and the wider community.
• Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of strategic and financial planning and management.

We offer a supportive and unified team of governors, who have diverse and relevant skills to enhance the school, along with a team of excellent teaching and non-teaching staff who continually strive to improve and are open to new and innovative solutions.
