Job overview

Due to the pending retirement of our current Headteacher, we are seeking to appoint an exceptional Headteacher to this highly successful special school and allied services for children experiencing Social, Emotional, Behavioural and/or Mental Health difficulties.

New Rush Hall School, consistently judged Outstanding by Ofsted and in Challenge Partner reviews, is a Teaching School and part of the wider New Rush Hall Group, which comprises 2 PRUs, a Behaviour Support Outreach Service, An Early Years Provision, and the education department of Brookside psychiatric adolescent unit. Through a service level agreement with Redbridge LA the current Headteacher is also Head of the Group.

The appointment comes at a pivotal time as the school considers the next phase of its development and a possible move to multi-academy status.

  • Highly ambitious and keen for a challenge with plenty of opportunities to grow and develop the school and group, with a supportive Governing Body.
