At Ringmer Primary and Nursery School, we are offering an exciting opportunity whether you are new to headship or a more experienced leader. Our school is an integral part of the growing and thriving village community in Ringmer in the heart of East Sussex. We admit children in the 2-11 age range and having been through a major rebuilding and refurbishment project in recent years, are currently a 1.5 form entry school.

We are looking for an outstanding candidate to take our school to the next level. It is an exciting opportunity for the right person who can use their skills to inspire through strong leadership, who is committed to high achievement and who can bring fresh ideas and perspectives for the benefit of our caring children, our dedicated team and the wider engaged community.

Our pupils are hoping for a Headteacher:

Our staff would like a Headteacher who:

  • is able to inspire the whole school community,

  • achieves the best possible outcomes for all pupils, 
  • can positively respond to current and future challenges, 
  • will bring new ideas and ways of working, 
  • will enable Ringmer Primary and Nursery School to ‘Be the best that it can be’.
